ACOTAR: Which Court Are You?

One of my favorite things while reading A Court of Thorns and Roses was definitely perusing the map included in the book. The best part about fantasies is that a good one tends to have a spectacularly built world, and in the case of the ACOTAR series, it’s a terribly cool one.

Those fae-denominations are fun and interesting, that’s for sure!

We at Fableulous Retellings are practically maidens of Prythian, so ACOTAR fans will probably be more knowledgeable about each Court than we are. All the same, because I am nothing if not curious and intrigued by the High Lords of the Courts and the places they frequent. There was not enough in ACOTAR, but it does look like they play a bigger part in the later books!

However, we won’t delve too deeply in them, because I want to go straight to the important question.

What Court would YOU live in?

Assuming things aren’t cursed and/or in dismal state. I mean, I’m sure it’s fun and beautiful at the Spring Court, and spring is one of my favorite seasons (second to Autumn), but I probably wouldn’t have too much fun being stuck behind a mask for so long.

If it were my choice, I’d personally hang out at the Dawn Court, because well helloooo, is that a palace in the mountains? Can you imagine the VIEW? I’m mostly reminded by another palace in the mountains (*cough too much Dragon Age cough*), and I’m so for it.

As for my partner-in-crime, Meg? Well, she’s Autumn Court all the way.

But enough about us, what about you? Where would YOU live? I’m guessing there’ll be a lot of Night Court answers, judging by what I’ve seen around the interwebs.

If you’re still undecided, maybe the Bloomsbury quiz will help you out! Click here to take the “Which Court Do You Belong To” quiz!

I ended up with Winter Court on that quiz, which I suppose isn’t too bad if I get to live in an ice palace. I’d slide around ALL THE TIME. Hah.

Also, if you haven’t yet, don’t forget to check out our second episode, which talks loads about A Court of Thorns and Roses!

Mari out.
