Mari and Meg return with their first “12 Dancing Princesses” adaptation, an Australian YA novel Wildwood Dancing. This book adapts and expands on the fairy tale, adding in actual fairies and vampires and a truly evil antagonist. We also briefly discuss Baba Yaga, and how this book reads better when you don’t think of distant cousins as cousins.
